    *yawn*. Too much exposition, silly bland twist, and way too many cheap jump scares. But the acting was solid. Still I was bored in the theatre, and kept wishing the kid would kill his family.. except this wasn't Amityville.

    MacDonald is not Pollack or Friedkin or Frankenheimer. But the actors and script reminded me of the great political thrillers from the 70s. I'm glad they still make these movies.
